Contest: Cassoulet Giveaway

On Saturday, September 7th, over 2,500 people will converge on the Place du Capitole to savor a Giant Cassoulet Banquet – and Taste of Toulouse is giving away a pair of VIP tickets to one lucky newsletter subscriber!
This event, part of the Toulouse à Table festival, is one of my favorite annual events in Toulouse. The Place du Capitole sets the stage for a beautiful and delicious dinner of regional treasures. The centerpiece is the classic Toulouse cassoulet, made with (with a vegetarian and gluten-free cassoulet option, too!) made with Toulouse sausage, beans from the Lauragais, duck confit, and pork raised in Occitanie. The meal is rounded out by bread from Meilleur Ouvrier de France Jean-Luc Beauhaire, regional cheeses, plus ice cream from La Belle Aude and fruit for dessert.
Adults also get to enjoy two drinks from a selection of wines from southwest France, sparkling or still water, or soft drinks. To enhance the festive atmosphere, a free aperitif of Floc de Gascogne is offered to everyone wearing a white shirt. You also get your very own Toulouse à Table bandana and the earthenware dish from your portion of cassoulet. AND as if this event weren’t already awesome enough, the VIP tickets will also allow you access to a special, speedy VIP line for your meal, plus an after-dinner coffee and your very own reusable Toulouse à Table cup.
Your mouth is watering, right?
