Guests having fun following health and safety rules on a Taste of Toulouse food tour

Creating a safe – and fun – experience for everyone!

The continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that we have no choice but to learn to live differently. We believe that it is possible to maintain the proper health standards to keep everyone safe – while still having a great time!

To that end, we are continuing to offer our award-winning food tours as long as local regulations and the current health situation permit.

Also, in this period of significant economic turmoil, local artisans and producers need our support more than ever. We are happy to be able to continue to highlight them during our food tours.

Status as of March 14, 2022:

As of March 14, vaccination or a negative test is no longer required for our tours – however, it is still HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. See below for details.

We want to explain our policies regarding health, safety, and trip flexibility and answer any questions you may have. Our tours might look a bit different, but we’re confident you’re going to love them all the same!

What You Need to Know About Tour Safety with Us

100% Refund Policy.

We have always and will continue to honor a 100% refund policy in regards to COVID-19 cancellations. When you book with us, you don’t have to worry. You can choose between a full refund or a voucher towards a future tour that locks in the current price so you’ll never pay more when you rebook.

No Hassle Booking and Cancellation.

You can always cancel or change your booking with a simple email up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour. If you need to cancel after that point and it’s COVID-19 related, let us know. We want everyone to stay safe, so if you feel symptoms coming on or recently came in contact with someone who has COVID, please stay home.

Small Group Sizes.

We’re committed to maintaining a maximum of 8 participants on public tours to keep the experience more intimate and safer. We also offer the option of a private tour, if you are not comfortable participating with people outside your household. We allow groups of more than 8 on our private tours.

Mask-wearing.

In accordance with local regulations, wearing masks is no longer mandatory, but it is still HIGHLY ENCOURAGED in enclosed areas, when we can’t maintain safe social distancing, and whenever you feel like it! We’ll have some spare masks on hand if you need one.

Vaccination.

As of March 14, 2022, guests are no longer required to show documentation of vaccination or a negative COVID test. However, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND being vaccinated (and boosted!) before engaging in activities like our food tours where you will be spending a lot of time eating and drinking in public areas. Your guide has also been fully vaccinated and boosted with an EU-approved vaccine.

Symptom-free.

For the safety of our guests, guide, and community, we ask guests who exhibit symptoms that have been linked with COVID-19 (fever, cough, trouble breathing) or who have been in contact with someone with the disease in the last 14 days not to join the tour. Please contact us immediately if you have the least doubt about whether you should participate. Your guide also commits to following current French medical guidance as relates to self-isolation in the event of contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID.

Distancing.

We ask guests to maintain a one meter distance between themselves – and others – on our tours when possible.

Sanitation.

Hand sanitizer will be available to guests at all times during the tour and we encourage frequent use – especially before eating. Your guide will also be disinfecting their hands and surfaces frequently.

Individual Servings.

Tastings will be portioned out individually for each guest and handed directly to them by the guide or server. Guests will not be sharing off the same plate.

Paperless Tours.

Our tours have always been paperless and we’re reinforcing that commitment! When you pay online and receive your confirmation via email, there’s no need to print your tickets. After each tour, we’ll send you an email packed full of information about all of the places we went and the things we tasted, as well as recommendations and any other resources and information that we talked about during the tour.

Our local partners take health and safety seriously, too.

If you have any questions or comments regarding our COVID-19 policies, please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Thank you for your support and cooperation. We look forward to welcoming you to Toulouse!

À bientôt,
