Guests having fun following health and safety rules on a Taste of Toulouse food tour

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” – Seneca

The year 2020 and the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that we have no choice but to learn to live differently. We believe that it is possible to maintain the proper health standards to keep everyone safe – while still having a great time!

To that end, we are continuing to offer our award-winning food tours as long as local regulations and the current health situation permit.

Also, in this period of significant economic turmoil, local artisans and producers need our support more than ever. We are happy to be able to continue to highlight them during our food tours.

Status as of June 3, 2021:

We are thrilled to be able to welcome you back on Chocolate & Pastry Tour starting June 1, 2021! The Victor Hugo Market Tour is not currently available due to current city regulations (with a possible opening date of July 1). Click on the individual tour pages for the schedule and more details.

We want to explain our policies regarding health, safety, and trip flexibility and answer any questions you may have. Our tours might look a bit different, but we’re confident you’re going to love them all the same!

What You Need to Know About Tour Safety with Us

100% Refund Policy.

We have always and will continue to honor a 100% refund policy in regards to COVID-19 cancellations. When you book with us, you don’t have to worry. You can choose between a full refund or a voucher towards a future tour that locks in the current price so you’ll never pay more when you rebook.

No Hassle Booking and Cancellation.

You can always cancel or change your booking with a simple email up to 48 hours before your scheduled tour. If you need to cancel after that point and it’s COVID-19 related, let us know. We want everyone to stay safe, so if you feel symptoms coming on or recently came in contact with someone who has COVID, please stay home.

Smaller Group Sizes.

We’ve reduced our already small group sizes even further – to 6 people MAX on public tours. We also offer the option of a private tour, if you are not comfortable participating with people outside your household. We allow groups of more than 6 on our private tours.

We are asking guests to certify that they are symptom-free by taking a quick and easy online questionnaire at or before check-in. Just show us the final page – either as a screenshot or on your phone’s web browser – to let us know that you/your group is good to go. For the safety of our guests, guide, and community, guests who exhibit symptoms that have been linked with COVID-19 – fever, cough, trouble breathing – or who have been in contact with someone with the disease in the last 14 days will not be allowed to join the tour.

Mandatory mask-wearing.

In compliance with local regulations, we require that our guests bring their own masks and wear them covering nose and mouth at all times – except when we’re eating and drinking, of course!

Often-mentioned, but never taken for granted. We ask guests to maintain a one meter distance between themselves – and others – on our tours.

Hand sanitizer will be available to guests at all times during the tour and we encourage frequent use – especially before eating. Your guide will also be disinfecting their hands and surfaces frequently.

Individual Servings.

Tastings will be portioned out individually for each guest and handed directly to them by the guide or server. Guests will not be sharing off the same plate.

Paperless Tours.

Our tours have always been paperless and we’re reinforcing that commitment! When you pay online and receive your confirmation via email, there’s no need to print your tickets. After each tour, we’ll send you an email packed full of information about all of the places we went and the things we tasted, as well as recommendations and any other resources and information that we talked about during the tour.

Our local partners take health and safety seriously, too.

If you have any questions or comments regarding our COVID-19 policies, please feel free to email me at Thank you for your support and cooperation during this time. We look forward to welcoming you back in Toulouse soon!

À bientôt,
